How do I save pictures to phone instead of my iCLOUD account

My phone has broke, and my sister was kind enough to let me use her iPhone 4 SE until I can afford to get a new phone. I logged my iCloud account and had connected it to my iMac to update the music via iTunes.

All my sisters photos that were saved to her phone (for the past 5/6 years) have now saved to my iCloud, so now iCloud memory is extremely low and I don't know how to make space. I fear that if I delete photos directly via my iCloud photos, they will be lost forever.

I have :

Gone to settings, photos, then under iCloud I ticked "Download and Keep originals"

However I notice under : TRASFER TO MAC OR PC

I only have 2 options - "Automatic" or "Keep Originals" I checked Keep Originals

I have just found iPhone Storage in General settings. I'm guessing I may be able to do something here to save all photos to phone not my iCloud?

Please, is there a simple option to have all her photos save to her phone so I can make space on my iCloud account? Thanks in advance

iPhone SE, 13

If you delete your Photos / Videos on iPhone it is gone from iCloud too and vice-versa.

The photos that were on your sister's Phone are now on iCloud because you have used your Apple ID and have turned on iCloud Photos under iCloud

The only option that can save space on iPhone and iCloud is to import all photos to Mac/PC using Photos app on Mac or PC

Import to your Mac

You can use the Photos app to import photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac.

  1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac with a USB cable.
  2. Open the Photos app.
  3. The Photos app shows an Import screen with all the photos and videos that are on your connected device. If the Import screen doesn't automatically appear, click the device's name in the Photos sidebar.
  4. If asked, unlock your iOS device using your passcode. If you see a prompt on your iOS device asking you to Trust This Computer, tap Trust to continue.
  5. Either select the photos you want to import and click Import Selected, or click Import All New Photos.
  6. Wait for the process to finish, then disconnect your device from your Mac.
