Got the iWatch will not pair with iPhone 6 Plus with updated iOS to 12.4, every time I start the pairing process it flips to unpairing and to wait then goes back to pairing screen And starts all over again and again

If the watch has watchOS6 then you need a phone that has ios13 or higher,your 6 plus will only update to ios12.

Yes, at least least an iPhone 6s or newer that can run iOS 13 or later.
