Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to back up photos on your MacBook and iPhone without them syncing together.
Basically, I have photos on my MacBook from 2015-2017 and my phone has 2018 pictures to now. I don't want my MacBooks old pictures on my new phone. Is there a way to put it on the cloud without those photos going to my phone so it will be backed up incase my computer breaks?

Photos are synced by Apple ID, not a device. If you re signed in to iCloud on each with the same Apple ID, photos will be combined.
