App Store does not recognize my Apple ID password

I have multiple apps on my iPhone 8 needing updates, but the App Store won't update any until I enter my Apple ID password; when I do, it says the password is incorrect.

I've double-checked the password (it was correct), then changed it, updated all devices and powered down/restarted the phone just to make sure, but the App Store is still saying the password is wrong.

Hi jzsmay,

Thanks for your post! We understand the App Store is not accepting your Apple ID password, even though the password is correct. Were the apps possibly downloaded from an older Apple ID? Make sure the Apple ID that is being used to update the apps is your current Apple ID. If not and the issue is persisting, delete the affected apps, then download them again.
