change name of computer
How can I change th name of my computer? I've tried the Sharing folder in System Preferences however that doesn't work.
I change the computer name but there isn't a tab to save the change.

I have no idea what you mean by a computer name in the upper, right corner.
The logged in user may show up there if you have Fast User Switching enabled in Users & Groups system preferences, Login Options.
