airplay doesnt show on my imac

There is no switch on option for airplay on my iMac. any suggestion?

Please specify your iMac model, as indicated in the About This Mac window (typically CPU speed/screen size/year (season)).

Please specify your macOS version.

AirPlay is available as an in-app option on iTunes, the TV app, the Music app (for audio), QuickTime Player, and Safari.

AirPlay Screen Mirroring is available system-wide (with some exceptions) from the Menu options in the top-right corner, which can be turned off and on in System Preferences﹥Displays﹥☑︎ Show mirroring options in the menubar when available.
