New Mac Laptop - Cannot Update Apps

I just bought a new Mac laptop and created a new Apple ID. This morning, there are updates available for GarageBand, Keynote, Numbers and Pages but when I click "update", it tells me that these apps were installed with a different Apple ID.

How can I update these apps...?

The workaround is to delete the apps and redownload them logged in with your Apple ID.
