MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) Keyboard light not working

Hi everybody,


I am using Macbook Pro ( 2017 ), the keyboard light was working fine but suddenly its turn off even if i pressed the caps lock button the keyboard light does not turned On.


It's increasing the bar after pressing the F5 and F6 button but keyboard light not getting on


Any solution for this please

If the ambient light is bright enough it shuts off the keyboard back light.


Take your hand and cover the Facetime camera/light sensor area and test.



Try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964


You can also Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379


NVRAM (or reboot.) notice among others:


USB Device: Apple T2 Bus

USB Device: Touch Bar Backlight

USB Device: Touch Bar Display

USB Device: Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad

USB Device: Ambient Light Sensor

USB Device: FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in)

USB Device: Apple T2 Controller
