Gift a playlist?
How can I gift a playlist I made to a friend who does NOT have Apple Music? I assume I need to buy the music, but not sure how.

You might remember that iTunes used to offer the ability gift a whole playlist in one transaction. That ability was removed several years ago. And in your case, the Apple Music sharing method will not work. One suggestion is to buy a gift card and let them buy the tracks you recommend into their own account.
(An alternative, if you want to kick it old school, is to burn an audio CD and present the CD as a gift. However, many people nowadays do not appreciate or have a way to play an audio CD.)
