Safari

When I open a page, Safari immediately changes to a text only page. How can I fix this?

We see Safari is not displaying correctly. We have some great information to fix this.


Safari troubleshooting on Mac


Specifically this sub-section.


If webpage text has odd or unusual characters in Safari on Mac


"Text may be garbled if a webpage uses characters that aren’t part of the default text encoding and the page doesn’t specify the correct encoding.

  • In the Safari app  on your Mac, choose View > Text Encoding.

If webpages frequently have garbled text, change your default text encoding by choosing Safari > Preferences, then clicking Advanced.
