Sorting Folders in Finder

How can I get Finder to "sort" or "display" folders separately from the individual files in the list alphabetically like they do in Windows File Explorer?

If all the same types are grouped together, you are not sorting but grouping.

The regular press of the button gives grouping options.

Pressing the button with the Option key held down gives sorting options.

You can sort a folder on its own.

You can group a folder on its own, but the groups are sorted by name.

Or you can group by one criteria and then sort within the groups using another criteria.

If you Show View Options (cmd-J), the sort and group options are separate popup menus.

Thanks Barney-15E, I think I am closer... let me explain myself perfectly clear (I didn't do that good of a job above). I am asking (similar to a "Windows" machine) if there is a way in Finder to sort, group - whatever that looks like this...

Folder A

Folder C

Folder Q

Folder S

File A

File C

File F

File S

etc...

Having ALL of the folders TOGETHER and all of the files TOGETHER on the same Finder screen both alphabetized... Can that happen??
