Legacy software warning

It's nice to know that there is a legacy system extension in use. And its nice to be requested to talk to the developer of the software that uses this extension. But then there isn't a clue given in the message about which software loaded the extension. It seems like the message is incomplete and leaves the operator incapable of taking the desired action. I am running Parallels with High Sierra on a system that is running Catalina. So I don't know if this warning message is related to High Sierra or Catalina.

The diagnostic is new to macOS Catalina, and concerning a feature deprecation arriving with macOS Big Sur.

There’s nothing you can do with the app, other than remove the app, or update the app. If the developer doesn’t have a fix by now, those app things’ll stop working with Big Sur this fall (Northern Hemisphere).

If you’re not sure about the app involved, download and enable full device access for and post an EtreCheck report. Open a new reply here and then press the button that looks like a printed page to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here.
