My device fell in water. Is it covered under the warranty?

Can I get a new iPad because this one is water damaged?

Sorry, but water damage is accidental damage and is NOT covered by iPad warranty. If you purchased AppleCare_ when you purchased the iPad and the plan is still valid, you can use one of your two accidental damage claims to get a greatly reduced cost replacement. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ you will need to purchase an out of warranty replacement at about 60% of the cost of the iPad when new.
