Certain apps won’t connect to internet

Hello everyone,

Recently, when I have tried to open certain apps on my iPhone 8, it says it can’t connect to the internet. But when I surf the web or open up YouTube, everything is totally fine. I’ve already restarted the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, and turned my cellular/wifi off then on again. I’m just wondering if anyone has had this problem, and if anyone knows how to fix it.

i have a similar problem on my iPad that started today. I am on the Internet and can get into certain apps such as YouTube, but I can no longer get into Facebook, Yahtzee and Gin Rummy that I usually use every day. I am also getting a message to say that I am not on the internet when trying to get into Facebook via Safari, i.e. not using the app.
