High Sierra 10.13.download

Hi,

I'm trying to download High Sierra 10.13 from the Mac Apple store but when I click on open i get a message that "this copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS. Does anyone have any ideas how I can install 10.13? I can't upgrade to 10.13.13 without downloading and installing 10.13 first!

Backup, then Upgrade the macOS:

First, Back up your Mac:

Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the transfer.

Then Upgrade the macOS:

Try...

  • a different Network
  • a temporary Administrator account
  • resetting your Router for 30 seconds

When the App Store says Open it is detecting a copy of Install macOS High Sierra.app in your Applications

folder. Locate it, move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Connect your mac to your router via cable rather than WiFi.

Restart your mac, go back to the High Sierra download page,

it should now say Get or Download.

This will download the full installer version of High Sierra

which is version 10.13.6 and will be 5.24GBs in size.

Apple removes all previous full installer versions of their OS's

from the App Store so there is no 10.13 to download. 10.13.6 full installer is all you need.

Do not use the mac while it is downloading or any other

devices that share the same internet connection.
