MacOS High Sierra

I am having trouble downloading any new updates for my MacBook 12inch from early 2016. I have not been able to update it further than macOS Sierra 10.12.6 as it says the file is damaged and it says there are no further updates on the App Store. I need this for downloading the latest version of Lightroom, if anyone has a solution that'd be great, thanks.

Delete "Install macOS High Sierra" from the Applications folder.

Try downloading again in Safe Mode.
