Setting up new Mac Air. Thought it was setup to open with my fingerprint and did not set up a password. It does not respond to my fingerprint and is asking for a password. Can someone help me?
A password will always be required when booting the Mac. Touch ID works at wake from sleep. You can reset your password.

thanks .. also experienced difficulty setting up my email but have managed to solve my problem on my own...however good to know that help is available if I am not always able to find the solution by myself . thanks
I thought I had my new Mac Air setup to open with my fingerprint. i did not set upa password. Now it is asking for a password wit my fingerprint. Can someone help me?
