Updating payment method on free games

im trying to download free games and it’s asking to update a payment method. How do I fix this?

By updating the payment method.

Unless you have a NONE option among the payment methods in your account details, then you have to have a valid, function ing payment method, even for free apps.

Oft times the system is asking you to verify the payment method to make sure it is actually you using the account.
