I have three columns: A, B and C.
A measures Time.
B measures Temperature.
C measures ∆T.
The cells in Column C are based on the numbers in the cells in column B (ex. B5-B4), this results in misleading information unless the relevant cell in column B do contain a number. The program seems to assume that an empty cell contains the number 0, but I want that an empty cell results in no calculation at all, is that possible?

If you are in a region where the decimal separator is a comma, replace the two commas in Ian's formula with semi colons ( ; ).
IF(B3="";"";B3−B2)
Also note that the C3= in Ian's post means "Select cell C3, press = to open the Formula Editor, then enter what follows into the editor.

Try this:
No formula in C2.
Formula in C3=IF(B3="","",B3−B2)
Fill down.
"" is NULL (blank).

Probably this is exactly it, I just get a syntax error when I program it.
