simple way to get iMovie to play on a pc

is there an easy way i can formate my iMovie videos so that they well play on a pc?

iMovie exports everything as Mp4/AAC at all settings except Best Quality (pro res). Best Quality (pro res) would give you a .mov file, although 4x larger size than the Mp4 file.


Export your project as Mp4/AAC. That format is pretty much globally compatible with all devices. If your PC video player app doesn't play it, then you can use the free download, Handbrake, to convert it to whatever format is required.
