How can I remove some pictures from my cloud that I don’t need to give me more room

I need to remove some of my pictures from my iCloud to reduce my storage

iPhone XR, iOS 13

If you delete photos from iCloud, they are deleted from all other devices and will not be retrievable after the fact. All you have to do is delete them from the Photos app on your iOS devices or from the Photos app on your Mac computer. But again, if you delete from one, they are gone from all, forever. Are you attempting to make more room on your iOS device or are you attempting to make more room in iCloud.
