How do I know if someone has stolen my Apple ID and phone number?

I received a couple of notifications the most recent one today (9-24-20) that said “Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new iPhone. I don’t have a new iPhone. What do I need to do?

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.
