I was trying to wipe my Mac, and now when I turn it on it's a flashing "?".

I have tried turning it off and turning it back on with command R but not working.

We do not recommend erasing your Macintosh HD without reinstalling macOS afterwards, as this can destroy your Mac. If you try to trade in your Mac for a new one, and the old Mac contains no operating system whatsoever, they will reject your request.

Also, I see you're having trouble accessing macOS Recovery after having to erase your internal drive. To reinstall macOS, you need to enter macOS Recovery via the Internet; this can be done by pressing Cmd-Option-R on the keyboard during startup. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201314 for more information.
