i got a call saying my Apple account was compromised how do I find out if it was a scam or true?

It was a scam. Apple doesn't make unsolicited phone calls. If there was a problem you would be notified when attempting to log in, including when logging into this forum. Also see: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

The past few days I’ve been getting robo calls about my iCloud account being compromised & not to log into any Apple devices. I tried #1 to connect to Apple support. I couldn’t understand him & then we were disconnected. The calls start in the evening, repeats every 10 minutes. We had 36 calls in one evening & 10 another evening. I’m pretty sure it’s a phishing call. Is anyone else dealing with this? How can you get it to stop?
