Old iPad and Apple ID

I am trying to use a very old iPad of mine and it keeps asking me to sign into my Apple ID. Every time I do this it sends an alert to my iPhone and macbook and I click allow and it sends me a passcode to put in my iPad, but it keeps spamming the iPad and not giving me a place to put the passcode in so it will not work.

Append the authentication code to your Password.

For example, if the Password is PasswordABC and the code is 123456, enter PasswordABC123456.
