Kindle iOS app

After opening a book in the kindle app on my iPad, I can’t make the menu reappear. Tapping at the top of the screen doesn’t do anything unless I get too close to the right edge, when it will bookmark the page. This means I can’t change chapter or switch to a different book.


I’ve tried completely closing the app. I also tried signing out of the App Store and signing back in, like I saw in a previous thread about a similar problem, but it hasn’t helped.

Try tapping in the middle of the screen.
