How do I move on to reinstall and start using my computer again?

Did you erase the disk before you tried to re install the OS.

Quit the installer.

Open Disk Utility.

Highlight the uppermost Disk in the Internal section of the left hand panel.

Click Erase.

Format: MacOS Extended (Journaled)

Scheme: GUID Partition Map.

Click Erase.

Having done that quit Disk Utility.

Now click on Reinstall OS X see if it now offers you a Disk to install to.
