static internal mic

I have the MacBook Pro 2020 Base model (256gb SSD, 8gb RAM, i5-8257U) and i have been having an issue with my internal mic, when it is used on discord, after around half an hour the internal mic starts to get so bad with a static noise that my friends would rather i was muted because they can barely hear what i am saying. A few things temporarily help like plugging in my Blue Yeti mic and switching for a second then switching back to internal, or leaving the call and rejoining but this fix lasts around 20 mins at max and doesn't work all the time. You might say why dont i use the blue yeti, but i only have 2 USB-C ports and one is for my mouse the other I use to charge my mac as the battery doesnt last very long when i am gaming. I could also buy an adapter with USB-C and USB for my Yeti but is there any fix for the static on the internal mic? I have the latest versions of Windows and MacOS. Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
