I faced a problem to connect iPhone to My car after update to IOS14 , noting that the media is connect perfectly but the problem in call connect The software in my car sync Microsoft in Ford Edge 2014

"Re-Pair" the Devices, Literally:
Unpair the iPhone with your Car. Then pair it back. Likely, you'll have to pair it when in park. View your Driver's Manual, if necessary, for more.
