Apple Watch not tracking activity and heart rate.

After WatchOS 7 update my Apple Watch Series 5 stopped tracking my activity and heart rate.

When I go in the Activity app on my Apple Watch it just shows me a black screen, with time on top of the screen. When I go to the Fitness app on my iPhone it doesn't show my activity. When I go into the Health app on my iPhone it doesn't show my recent and average heart rate, same on my Apple Watch.

Can someone help me?

Hi nku63,

Activity tracking is definitely an important function of your Apple Watch! We see you're finding some data is missing, and we'll be happy to assist.

It sounds like this resource will be a good starting point; see if the process here helps: If you're missing Workout GPS routes or Health data after updating to iOS 14 and watchOS 7

If the issue persists, that's when your best bet will be to get in touch with Apple. You can do so with this link: Get Support
