Remove duplicate bookmarks

I wanted to remove multiple duplicate bookmarks in my safari on my MacBook macos 15.7 but is unable to find anything online!

A work around would be to download an app that takes care of it , but is asking for a price.

Second option I find was to open safari , open bookmarks > move all the bookmarks in one folder and sort it (by control clicking) by name and delete them manually.

Is there a better option to do that?

Maybe a workaround – not very elegant, yet effective: look if Firefox or Chrome browsers can manage duplicate bookmarks (through an extension if necessary).

Export Safari bookmarks, import them in the chosen browser, get rid of the duplicates, export cleaned bookmarks and import them again in Safari.
