Missing Files from iCloud Drive

I am missing a few files from iCloud Drive which I never deleted and don't even exist in the restore file section.

Is there a way to retrieve these files?

The iPad and Mac were signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network , suddenly the iPad was on low battery the syncing stopped and the files that were about to upload in iCloud.com were stopped / interrupted , you had already saved files locally in iPad https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT206481

You can retrieve those files from iPad .

Yes, not in there. One of my devices (my ipad) apparently showed them ( looked just now). So it seems that there is an issue with sync. Please note that up till now I was able to see the files across devices and icloud.com folder... I found the files on ipad only but the issue still exists which is how the files removed in the first place. I guess the ipad which was out of battery prior the sync issue had them stored also locally if I am guessing correctly....

All other devices excluding The iPad are missing the files, iPad was out of battery at the time the unexpected sync happened and lost the files. The iPad saved me actually.... so the problem is why icloud removed files without actually removing them?
