I have a similar problem on three computers......an iMac, a MacBook Pro, and a second older iMac. None of these computers can print to a networked HP 8720 OfficeJet Pro printer. The first one came up with the error ""commandtohp.filter" will damage your computer. On another computer it said "The InkJet3.Driver" will damage the computer. There seems to be a fair bit of internet chatter about this today and they almost always point to a download of a malware removal package. I am very reluctant to do that since that might start yet another round of problems. I did try MalWare Bytes, which I believe is an Apple supported product, and it DID NOT find any malware; however, this might so new that they are not up to date on it. Also, just as others have noted, if I reinstalled the printer as AirPrint I can send items to the printer, but quite limited in functionality. I spent several hours this morning making changes to my IP assignments and other printer-related items before I came upon this info on the internet. Perhaps Apple will have a solution????? Yes, Maybe, Please???

this worked for me (I have an officejet pro 8600)

* updated HP printer s/w (happened automatically and issues started shortly after this)

* got message when using printer about possible virus on one of the hpconnect modules so I deleted it (moved to trash) until I could fix issue

* downloaded and installed new HP drivers (from HP site) for printer on my macbook

* deleted printer in devices on my MacBook

* readded printer on my macbook

hope that helps
