iPhone 12 yellow screen

i got my 12 pro yesterday, beautiful machine, but i started to notice some lack of color intensity, i've using an Iphone X for 3 years know, so something was off. I put the two side by side, displaying the same foto, exactly same settings, and it's sad, something is wrong with the 12 pro, the colors are sad and dead and "yellowish".

Any ideas ?

Hello Antonio! I found a solution that works for me and would work for you as well! My new iPhone 12 also had the yellow tint to it so I exchanged it at my local apple store and although the new one was better, it still had the tint to it. My solution is to actually change the color tint of the display by going into your settings < accessibility < display & text size < color filters < turn on and select color tint. You can scroll down and adjust the intensity and the hue. I have my intensity slider all the way to the left and my hue is about 80% to the right which adjust the tint to a more natural color. It has satisfied me and I hope it works well for you!

I just got my 12 Pro Max from amazon yesterday and have exact same issue. My X and wife's 11 look waaay better. Display on 12 Pro Max is yellowish, less contrasty, and vivid, more like flat, like a paper book appearance. I thought it must be something in settings and searched and searched. Made sure all settings were exact the same on both phones but no luck.

Finally ended up calling Apple and Amazon and Amazon is replacing it now. I will have to spend hours again to transfer data and configure my banking apps etc and hopefully will not have this defect in the replacement phone.

I wonder when many are facing this issue why is Apple not doing anything about it? Very poor QC from Apple!

I would suggest booking a sales appointment at the store if you’re able to go in person. If you go the servicing appointment route it takes longer to get the problem resolved.

I was speaking to tech support then a customer service agent on the phone, they recommended returning to the phone at the store for a full refund since it was still within the return period. In the meantime, I could order the phone again for pick up the same day I was returning. That way I won’t have a period where I’m without a phone as I went ahead and sold my old iPhone X already.
