Cannot find Catalina download

Safari version 14.0 was introduced with Catalina version 10.15.6.

The update to Safari will be found in System Preferences> Software Update

this is the only way to download Safari and will be available when you

update your OS to 10.15.7.

Did you download the 10.15.7 Combo update I linked you to earlier

this should download directly to your Downloads folder.

Check where downloaded files go by clicking on Safari in the menubar

then click on Preferences, General> Files download location.

If you are trying to install the update 10.15.7 to an installation of Catalina then ignore System Preferences> Software Update.

Once downloaded double-click to install.

Actually, Maewee, I seem to recall a Safari specific Downloads folder, that’s directly associated with the Safari Downloads window icon (circle with a down-arrow?).

I don’t remember, right now, where it is in the file system.

However, if you have something in that Safari Downloads “icon”/popup-menu, you can choose “Open in Finder” to see the location.

The downloaded file should, typically, be found in the Downloads folder, Maewee.

I would give the link a try, Maewee.

Safari is usually updated as a part of the macOS.

(I have Safari version 14.0 on macOS 10.15.7.)
