App not shown in “iPhone storage”

Hello, today I ran into a strange issue. Google photos app doesn’t show the logo and crashes. It is not listed under Settings > General > iPhone storage. I tried uninstalling it. Then it says it’s successfully uninstalled but when I go to the App Store to reinstall Google photos it says “Open”. What should I do?

The issue has been solved with an update to the app from the App Store. Essentially the solution is wait for the app developer to update the app so that the app “Installs” on your phone. In this case the fix was fast because it’s google and their regular app updates.

Yes, even did a force restart. Even tried restoring using iTunes. In the end iTunes says could not backup iPhone due to an unknown error. I have seen some forums may be I should wait for Google to push an update to the app so that it would get reinstalled. Any known methods? To know about any possible solutions I posted this to community.
