malware issue

While browsing through crome, yahoo gateway opens on Auto. some websites open autometically. i feel there might be virus / malware.

If you recently enhanced Chrome with add-on features, try removing the last ones you added, and restart Chrome to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem is caused by deliberate programming, then Malwarebytes may not detect anything related to the Chrome add-on issues.

Download, install and run Malwarebytes, the free version is enough.

Think it still runs on OS X El Capita.
