typing my keychain password

hi all, i'm on 10.15.7, and every re-boot requires i type my user password, and then my keychain password 8 times. some of the things i'm allowing are related to Adobe CC, but the rest are all system related. this is a new-is MBP, and one set up from an older MBP. i asked about this a while back, and some one said "it'll get better" but it has not.

is there a solution to this, entering my keychain password so many times after a re-boot?

i called apple tech support, the problem went up to the next level of expertise, the whole thing took 2-3 hours, BUT it's fixed. we did a lot for things, but i believe the fix was to navigate to Library, Keychains, and he had me move everything to a new folder.

re-start and re-log into everything and i was good to go. he suspected this was due to 2 previous MBPs data migration into this current MBP could have been the problem.

Thanks to all who offed help.

I don't understand. Is that a new Mac? Did you contact Apple: Contact Support. A new Mac should not be doing that, even if you migrated its content from an older one when you first took it out of the box and configured it: Set up your Mac - Apple Support.

No, it won't.

thank you but that doesn't work. in keychain, login, edit menu, change settings, the 2 check boxes are already unselected.

so, "Select the “Lock after” checkbox, then enter a number of minutes." is not what i want. then "If you want to require a password each time the computer goes to sleep, select the “Lock when sleeping” checkbox. <-that box is all unchecked.

i appreciate your trying.
