My old MacBook Pro was backed up with time machine on an external drive. The MacBook Pro no longer charges. All of my photos did not transfer I used migration assistant and connected the external drive in time machine. How can I find these photos ?

It is just like using finder. Your library will probably be in (your name)/pictures/photos library.photoslibrary.
