New Mac Mini M1 with TV Full HD (Sony Bravia)

Hi,

I'm considering to purchase the new Mac Mini M1. I would like to use my TV (Sony KDL-55W755C) as monitor and working from sofa (2,5/3m). This TV has hdmi 1.2 ports (it's a Full HD TV) while Mac Mini uses hdmi 2.0. Will I have problems in viewing? Is there anyone who uses a full hd tv with hdmi 1.2 ports with Mac Mini (not necessary M1)?

Thanks,

Pier.

A device with an HDMI 2.0 output is supposedly backward compatible

to older versions.
