HomePod will not switch to correct wifi network in my home

my HomePod is on the guest wifi network in my home and that is hampering my ability to use my iPhone for daily updates etc. It is will not give me the option to move to the wifi network that my iPhone is on

Forget the connection for the guest network from your phone. Temporarily disable the guest wi-fi so the HomePod is forced to use another set of credentials that it has access to. Reset the HomePod if needed. If your phone and iCloud Keychain only have the credentials for the non-guest Wi-Fi then that is what the HomePod should use.
