Big Sur Installation Issue

Hello! My Macbook Pro 2020 is stuck while upgrading to Big Sur. It’s been a day! How do I solve this, or at least get out of the installation process?

Press the update buttom for 30s to shut it off.

Press it again to restart.

Often solved my issues.

Upgrade from High Sierra to Big Sur fails to install I have a 2017 Mac Book Pro running High Sierra with over 100GB of storage space available. I'm trying to upgrade to Big Sur. I go into the App Store and select "macOS Big Sur" (12GB) and click on download. It says downloading and then calculating and appears to finish after about 30 seconds and then presents an open button. I click on the "open" button and the window just flashes but does not do anything. I've done several reboots but nothing seems to change the behavior. There are not errors or warnings anywhere that I can see. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Upgrade to macOS Big Sur from macOS Mojave Issue Every time I go to upgrade to macOS Big Sur from macOS it downloads the new software and then hangs up. It will not complete the installation. I got a message once that said the System Presences stopped the installation. How can I get it installed?
