Big Sur on Macbook Pro w/M1

New MacBook Pro 13” w/M1 SOC - turned on and Migrated data from old iMac (OK)

Used old Admin OK - was data missing from Admin user so

Tried Migration again on the Admin user only and Big Sur backed up Admin User

then Migration started but did not complete, possibly because Admin was

now not available, canceled, then Big Sur no longer will allow startup because Admin user

is unavailable.

How to get and reload, or fix,  Big Sur O/S?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0

How was this resolved? I have the same problem, after Migration Assistant caused all apps to not being able to do File > Open (no dialog box appears). Apple Care instructed me to go into Recovery, erase my drive and reinstall Big Sur. Problem is, Big Sur says there's no authorized users, so it won't continue. Now I'm forced to go to Apple for them to install a fresh MacOS, after waiting days for my appointment.
