My 4K Apple TV worked the DS Video app before the most recent update. DS Video works perfectly on the HD Apple TV still with the update. I can no longer pause shows on the 4K I can not back out of selection of shows/movies. I have to stop ATV in order to get out of it. Other apps are fine. Only the Synology DS Video does not work on the 4K version. Any way to go back to previous version on my 4K Apple TV?

Developers are aware, they have released beta version of updated app. Install TestFlight onto AppleTV and iPhone, approve installation of test version of DS Video on iPhone here https://testflight.apple.com/join/CxAwe5r2, then get test version of DS Video installed on AppleTV via TestFlight application.

Same issue here !annoying. The funny thing is I bought an apple tv 4k for my father few days ago to make his life easier with his retirement, guess what? If he is watching a movie in DS movies, he can’t go to toilet or smoke! He can pause but can’t resume or go forward or backward.. lol. So impressed with my father. The only solution that fixed the problem with him, I subscribed with Plex for a lifetime years ago, so I used it, little bit slower if it is not connected through an ethernet cable, it does the job though. This is the only thing works fine for now.
I have the exact same issue but on my appletv HD so likely an issue with synologys app
I’m having the exact same issue. Cant pause or fast forward, and when I try to back out of a selection it shuts the app down. Still have not found a fix.
If it's an app issue, which it sounds like it is, then it isn't something a user can fix and rather something the developer needs to patch.
