Downloaded free VPN

Received msg from Apple (I thought) about a virus on my iPhone. Downloaded free VPN. Then I deleted the app. Did I create a big problem? I realized it’s a scam.

So long as you didn't subscribe to anything and the VPN you downloaded came from the App Store and did not ask you to install a management profile, you should be fine.
