iPhone 7 Plus won’t Update to IOS 14.2

My iPhone 7 Plus will not update to IOS 14.2 . I have had it at %100 battery and plugged in but it still will not update. I also reset the phone multiple times but that did not work either. I checked my storage and I have plenty of space for the download and it does download but it will not install. I keep getting a message after it attempts to verify the update. The message say that there was an error while trying to install IOS 14.2. The phone is currently on IOS 11 so I need an update soon because I can not download the apps that I need for school. I appreciate any and all help.

It doesn't have to be a Mac with iTunes. Windows computer with iTunes works just as well.

do you happen to have a Mac with iTunes? If yes connect your iPhone to the Mac and iTunes and see if the iOS 14.2 or the latest point release will download and install.

Sorry, all I think about are Apple products. I’ve had numerous Macs since they were first available and even had two Lisa Computers in my architecture group.

No problem, just didn't want the OP to think they couldn't update on a computer if they didn't have a Mac.
