Imac 2020 cannot use 2011 Imac for external display?

I just bought a 2020 Imac and trying to connect my 2011 Imac as External Display and NO DICE!

I've read miles of comments. Can anyone shed light. Using Thunderbolt 2 cable with Apple thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 adapter. TY

If you would like a second display for the 2020 iMac, then you will need to use an aftermarket external display.
