IPOD Touch won't sync with new Windows 10 PC

I'm having big trouble syncing my IPOD touch to my Itunes song library both before and after updating Itunes on the PC. Sync button is grayed out and even if I hit sync from another window it starts to sync then stops. The update wiped out all my songs on the IPOD. IPOD makes the noise that it's connected but nothing further than that.

Windows, Windows 10

See if this helps:

Yes....I eventually went to that page utilizing the "sync or remove content using Itunes", with the help of someone on chat with Apple. I was able to restore my songs from the library finally on the IPOD Touch. After that it seems now I have to manually sync instead of it automatically syncing when I plug the IPOD into the PC USB. At least now I know what to do. Only difference now besides that is the color of the lettering but I guess I'm stuck with grey, heh. My IPOD Touch is 4th generation so there's no color choices, etc.
