today I was trying to restore my iPhone 10 and now my phone is hungup and won't restart

I've tried the hard reset by pressing volume up, volume down, and hold in side button. The apple comes on the screen, but then nothing. I have iTunes open, but it does not see/recognize my iPhone. Any feedback or assistance would be appreciated.

iPhone X, iOS 14

Thanks for your response Peter. I did as suggested, and was finally able to get my phone to be recognized by iTunes. It said I needed to restore it. So I clicked on it, and the process started. Unfortunately as it was extracting it, it stopped, and now my phone is doing the same thing, the apple icon comes on the phone, but it doesn't boot up. I'll continue to try, and if not, then, I'll need to take it to an authorized service provider to see if they can fix it.
