Children who are part of Family Sharing cannot be removed from the Family Sharing group. See the Apple Support article Move a child to another group using Family Sharing.


Remove someone from your family group

The family organiser can remove anyone aged 13 or over* from the family group. If you need to, you can transfer a child to another family.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing.
  2. Tap the name of the family member that you want to remove.
  3. Tap Remove [your family member's name] From Family.
